Training & Visit Programmes:

During the last 42 years (1972-2014) the state Basic Agriculture School, Iroisemba was upgraded to G.S.T.C. One Farmer’s Training Centre had also been opened during 1980’s .
Apart from tremendous expansion in the administrative infrastructure and extension wings, the Department took up vigorous programmes on training and field visits with the use of improved audio-visual aids, electronic media, organization of seminars, conferences, publications of technical booklets on latest technologies’ on development and management of farm activities .
